The Wheeling Recreation Department is responsible for a comprehensive program of recreation including planning, developing, supervising and coordinating the operation of four swimming pools and thirty-two recreation areas throughout the City.  Department activities include but are not limited to the following:  Playground Olympic Program; Day Camp at Oglebay Park; Arts and Crafts; Sport Camps; and Basketball, Softball and Roller Hockey Leagues.
