• December 19, 2006: Distribute budget forms to department heads & request for employee group proposals

• January 16, 2007: Submit proposed departmental budget to City Manager & employee groups submit proposals

• January 17 - 31, 2007: Departmental & employee group meetings with City Manager

• February 20, 2007: City Manager submits balance General Fund & Coal Severance budgets to City Council

• February 27, 2007: City Council Budget Work Session @ 6:45 p.m.

• March 6, 2007: City Council Budget Work Session @ 6:45 p.m.

• March 20, 2007:  City Council Adoption of 2005-06 Budget

• April 20, 2007: Laying of Levy Rate by City Council

• June 11 - 27, 2007: Year-end Departmental Reviews/Proposed Budget Adjustments & Follow-up employee group meetings

• July 17, 2007: City Council Finance Committee - Unencumbered Carry Over Appropriation for FY 2006
