| Wheeling Council created the
Economic and Community Department to accomplish the goal of coordinating the multiple
functions of planning, zoning, development, economic development, code enforcement,
inspection, housing, neighborhood development and other tasks required in the City of
Wheeling. To this end, departmental staff is committed to a philosophy of customer
friendliness by streamlining, to the extent possible, all planning, regulatory, inspection
and enforcement activities surrounding a project. |
